Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Wonder Constant Labs, Inc. ("WCL," "we," "us") handles information in connection with the RECON Intelligence System™ ("RECON"), including reconscore.io, the RECON Command Center™, and the RECON RIS mobile app.

1. Information We Collect

From you, directly: when you request access, purchase a plan, or contact us, we collect your name, email address, company, and anything else you choose to tell us in that form. If you purchase any RECON plan, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment details directly — we receive your email, name, and confirmation that payment succeeded, never your full card number. If you become a RECON client, we also collect billing/account contact information and, for the mobile app, an authentication email via our identity provider (Clerk).

About the businesses you research: RECON's core function is to score publicly available information about businesses you submit — business name, address, phone number, website, and public review/listing data pulled from Google Places and similar public sources. This is business information about third parties, sourced from what is already public, not information we collect about you.

From the mobile app: the RECON RIS app does not collect or transmit your device's GPS location. Map features work from business addresses you view, not your own position. Field notes and visit records you create in the Scheduler module are stored to sync your own work across sessions.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information above to operate RECON: to generate the reports you request, to respond to access requests, to deliver purchased reports to the email addresses you designate, to authenticate you into the Command Center or mobile app, and to keep the service running (billing, support, and abuse prevention). We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it to serve third-party advertising.

When you use the Free RECON Snapshot, RECON temporarily retrieves the public website page you submit to return a limited set of website observations. The Snapshot does not require an email address and is not a full RECON Score. We do not automatically send the submitted website, Snapshot result, paid report, or your contact details to AWDS or another implementation provider. Standard hosting and security logs may retain technical request information for reliability and abuse prevention.

3. Third-Party Services

RECON is built on infrastructure that necessarily processes data on our behalf, under their own terms:

  • Google (Places, PageSpeed, Geocoding APIs) — sourcing public business data and website performance metrics.
  • Anthropic — AI-assisted research for certain report types.
  • Stripe — payment processing for all RECON plan purchases. Stripe handles your card details directly; we never see or store your full card number.
  • Clerk — authentication for the Command Center, client portal, and mobile app.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery (access requests, report delivery).
  • DigitalOcean and Railway — application hosting.
  • Cloudflare — encrypted off-site backup storage.

Optional implementation providers:AWDS receives no RECON information automatically. If you choose to follow an AWDS link, contact AWDS, or enroll in its service, the information you provide there is handled under AWDS's own terms and privacy practices.

4. Data Retention & Security

Account and report data is retained for as long as your account is active, plus a limited backup retention window, so we can restore service after an outage. Backups are taken on a recurring schedule and replicated to off-site encrypted storage. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized WCL personnel. No online system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data involved.

5. Your Choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@reconscore.io. We will respond and complete verified deletion requests within a reasonable time, subject to what we need to retain for legal, security, or legitimate business record-keeping purposes.

6. Children

RECON is a business-to-business tool and is not directed to, and should not be used by, anyone under 18.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as RECON evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
